All About Boo's
I've loved baking since a young age. Every year around Christmas, my mom would have my siblings and me make a list of friends to bring cookie trays to. We'd bake for a couple months leading up to the holidays then we'd make variety trays of cookies and go deliver them around the neighborhood together. This became a tradition that I carried on into my adulthood. In 2022, I decided to turn this Holiday baking tradition into a fundraiser at work.
I created boxes and trays of cookies and accepted donations from my coworkers and was able to raise $1500 to donate to a local food shelf in the community I work in. I continued this fundraiser in 2023 & 2024 and was able to raise over $3,000 to donate again, with the help of my coworkers. If I were to guess, this will remain a tradition for years to come.
The name "Boo's Bakery" is an ode to my mom, who called me Boo Bear growing up (and still calls me this today). My love for baking began because of her. She and my dad have always been supportive of me and truly are my biggest fans.Thank you for visiting!
